Banana Bread

Yum! My boyfriend made this, doubled the recipe, and added white chocolate chips on top. It was super moist on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. Followed the recipe exactly.

Yellow Squash Casserole

I have just recently gotten into yellow squash so I have been trying a few different recipes. I really loved this casserole. I used Garlic Butter Ritz and threw in a few fresh thyme leaves which were good but I'd say use very sparingly. Next time I will cut back on the butter and salt, definitely not add butter on top, this is why I only gave it 4 stars. I omitted the onions and sauteed the squash in butter for 4 minutes prior to mixing everything together. I followed a previous reviewer and baked for 15 mins before adding the cracker/cheese mix on top. I can't wait to make this again for my family!

Cheesy Creamed Corn

This recipe was so easy to make and very delicious! I made it for a BBQ and it was big hit. Followed the recipe except only used one tbl sp sugar, added salt, onion salt, Creole seasoning, and then added bacon and pickled jalapenos right before serving. Yum! Everyone asked for the recipe, which happens every time I make something from, and barely had any left overs!

Zesty Red Potatoes

delicious recipe! no onion for me, but lots of garlic and red pepper seasoning. broiled for the last 4 mins on high and they came out crispy and tender. greasy? well that's what i call butterlicious!

Currant Jelly Wiener Sauce

This was a super easy recipe to follow and fun to make because I really did not think it would be appetizing at all while I was mixing it. First of all, I hate mustard. If it even touches my finger I have to rinse it or wipe it off immediately. However, I am not against eating things with mustard as an ingredient like deviled eggs or potato salad. So this was definitely a risky recipe for me to try, but after reading all the rave reviews it had gotten, I just had to go for it! It certainly fills your kitchen with a very pungent, unfamiliar smell that is indeed quite pleasant. When I took my lil' experiments over to my friends house for a party with lots of different food, I told a few people how I had made the lil' smokies and soon enough other people were coming up to me asking how I had made them with their eyebrows raised and noses krinkled. Needless to say, they were an absolute hit and I decided to keep the unopened bottles to make this again very soon! If you want to be a big hit at the next party you go to/throw, whip this dish up and bring lots of toothpicks!

Garlic Green Beans

I am not a fan of green beans...until now!! After the first time I made this recipe, I found myself craving it all the time! The second time I made it, we had leftovers, and let me say, I think they're actually better the second time around. I prefer fresh green beans, steamed or boiled as directed, drain, then "fry" in fresh garlic, a dot of olive oil, and extra butter for only 3 mins. I sprinkle with Cajun seasoning and garlic powder while frying. BEWARE: I have become the official green bean maker for ALL family gatherings and holidays! Lots of pressure, but they always come out great.

Fettuccine Alfredo IV

Loved this so much!!! Didn't have any nutmeg so I added a dash of cayanne pepper to spice it up instead. Super easy and fast to make. Don't forget to leave some fresh parm to grate over the finished product. I added some sauted chicken to make it an amazing main course.
