I am not a fan of green beans...until now!! After the first time I made this recipe, I found myself craving it all the time! The second time I made it, we had leftovers, and let me say, I think they're actually better the second time around. I prefer fresh green beans, steamed or boiled as directed, drain, then "fry" in fresh garlic, a dot of olive oil, and extra butter for only 3 mins. I sprinkle with Cajun seasoning and garlic powder while frying. BEWARE: I have become the official green bean maker for ALL family gatherings and holidays! Lots of pressure, but they always come out great.
