Skillet Pork Chops with Potatoes and Onion

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2011
Our family really enjoyed this. I did add a bit of tarragon, paprika and garlic powder (to suit our family's taste). Quick and easy to make, plus clean plates all around. Thank you for posting it!

Rubbed and Grilled Pork Loin

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2011
I made this one night this week and we really enjoyed it. The instructions for cooking on a gas grill were perfect, although I had to adjust the cooking time as I had two small tenderloins instead of one larger one. I tented the meat with tin foil for ten minutes after taking it off the grill. The pork was very moist, as were the reheated leftovers the next day.

Horseradish Cheese Spread

My entire family loved this recipe. We also discovered that, spread between two pieces of bread and then heated, it makes an awesome grilled cheese sandwich!

Crisp Pickled Green Beans

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2008
This recipe is the same as my aunt's that we have been making for years - it's one of our family tradition, too! It's a wonderful treat - they come out crisp, tasty and not too spicy. If I have beans that are irregular, I cut them into two inches pieces and then pack and process as specified. I have also substituted several dashes of cayenne pepper or our favorite hot sauce instead of using pepper flakes. I like the fresh dill best, but have also used a tsp of dill seed or dried dill weed (or a combination of the two) if I can't get dill heads.

BBQ Feta and Hot Banana Pepper Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2007
I am giving this five stars both for the taste and ease of preparation. I did add two tablespoons minced onion and about 1/4 cup finely shredded Mexican blend cheese because I was cleaning out the fridge. I used Athenos reduced fat tomato and basil crumbled feta cheese. My entire family, including picky boys 2, 9 and 11, thought they were delicious. Thanks for the recipe-we will be using it again!
