This has become one of our favorite recipes. LOVE the spicy kick. I always make extra marinade and serve it over angel hair pasta!!

Spicy Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2004
Used OLD BAY instead of paprika like some others suggested. Also cut down on the salt. My boyfriend LOVED it. I made it in our hotel room in Lake George, so it was SOOOOO EASY to make. Great recipe. My boyfriend would have like it if I put butter in it, but he likes butter in and on everything!

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2004
Loved This! I had never made a tuna casserole before and was VERY worried about baking tuna. But this was great. My boyfriend even asked me to put this in our dinner time rotation. I also used the Cheddar type of fried onions for even more cheesiness!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2004
Great!!! My boyfriend is soo picky and he loved it. I took some hints from other and used onion soup in place of water. I also used 98% fat free cream of muchroom soup and 1/2 non-fat cream cheese and 1/2 non-fat sour cream for a lower fat version. Yummy

New Orleans Shrimp

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2005
Really yummy. This is the first time that I ever made a roux. I screwed it up a little so it was a little lumpy, but I just kept whisking until it went smooth. I added hot chili paste to the veggies after I cooked them, and I added crushed red pepper flake in the roux when i added the salt and pepper. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed it thoroughly.

Sausage and Lentils

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2007
I found this recipe somewhere else and have been making this for ages. I absolutely love it as I am a cumin lover. I use canned lentils to speed up the process and serve over rice.

Mandarin Beef Skillet

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2008
My husband and I both liked this recipe just as it was. But next time I am going to try two things in order to increase the orange flavor. I want to use Orange Juice or concentrate instead of the syrup in the oranges and the water. Also I will use two cans of oranges instead of one as I found there were just not enough oranges for 1 lb of ground beef. Thank you for this recipe!!!!

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
I love these flavors, but I don't think it was anything special. Tasted nice, but I will take the one reviews advice to marinate in apple juice/soy and to make more sauce. Will make again with modifications

Very good. Was a hit with the hubby. I had a hard time getting the inside of the corn muffin batter cooked without burning the outside, but I'll work on that.

Fabulous Wet Burritos

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
These were unbelievably good. Just like in a restaurant. I tried to make more figure friendly. I used whole wheat tortillas, fat-free refried beans, ground turkey breast, low-fat cheese. I also made my own enchilada sauce (Mrs. Espy's) from this site. Thank you soooo much for this one!
