Best Friend Doggie Biscuits

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2011
This recipe is good, but I omitted the salt. Salt is toxic to dogs if consumed in large amounts, and I don't want to risk it.

Cupcake Brownies

Reviewed: May 22, 2011
The top burned, the bottom was just buttery batter, the middle was rubbery chocolately . And then burnt chocolate chips?!? And I'm a decent brownie-baker. I was shocked at the results. I will NOT make these again.

Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Reviewed: May 22, 2011
Amazing recipe. I substitued the oil for olive oil, shorted it to a tablespoon of chips per serving (which is three pancakes) added wheat germ and vanilla, and made a buttermilk substitue (lemon/lime and milk). I also cracked a whole egg per two servings, increased the sugar a tiny bit, and shortened the salt to just a dash. Really good, flavorful and healthier. I will make this again.

Vanilla Crepes

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
These crepes were so amazing good!! Having no butter on hand, I used olive oil instead. I also put extra oil in the pan, and I patted it dry afterwards. The oil helped to cook it better. My whole family loved this~ including my mother!!

Chocolate Chip Kiss Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
This was sooooooo good! (I made a dozen at a time) I only got to try one before it was all gone. It's best when it's warm and the kiss is melted. :)

Chocopeanutbanana Smoothie

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
It was really good! However, I added a tablespoon more chocolate sauce because the peanut butter flavor was really strong. The banana flavor was subtle, also, but if I tried hard enough I could taste it. I garnished it with a candy cane, a teaspoon chocolate sauce, and a Hershey's kiss, and this is honestly one of the best breakfast I've ever had. :)

Candy Cane Cocoa

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2010
This cocoa is reaaaaaaally good. i used mint chocolate instead of semi-sweet chocolate. it definitely gave the cocoa a more minty flavor. i didnt use the candy cane stirring stick or whippd cream and it came out fine. it was a good way to kick off christmas before we started opening presents.

Golden Penny Pancakes

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2010
These pancakes were pretty good. I didn't have any cheddar on hand, so I substituted shredded American Cheese instead. The cheese brought out a nice flavor and we didn't use any syrup, but we topped it off with a tablespoon of gelato. It didn't come out fluffy, but its taste made up for that. My kids loved them and enjoyed making them with me.
