About this Cook
I prefer baking over cooking, and when I get lazy (who doesn't?) I make a drink for breakfast instead of my usual pancakes/crepes/whatever-else-I-had-in-mind. I am a fairly good cook, though I often make a mess, sometimes I burn or cut myself, but what good cook doesn't? I try really hard to keep an open mind of different types of foods. I love baking and cooking and to me it's almost like a hobby.
My favorite things to cook
There are lot: crepes, cakes, pancake, and I definitely enjoy mixing up drinks, but my favorite thing of all are cookies and soups. I'm trying to expand my variety of cooked/baked items.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Around Christmas and Thanksgiving, we turn up festive music and bake and cook together. We always try to make ALL of our favorite meals, foods, and treats.
My cooking triumphs
Making my first cake (chocolate) and not burning it; discovering a MUCH easier way to make hot chocolate; making a batch of good-tasting LIGHT brownies (with a mint-chocolate frosting on top).
My cooking tragedies
Burning twelve pancakes in a row; catching a crepe on fire (by accident!); over-boiling soup and having it spill over the edges and making a HUGE, HARD-TO-CLEAN mess.

Best Friend Doggie Biscuits
This recipe is good, but I omitted the salt. Salt is toxic to dogs if consumed in large amounts, and I don't want to risk it.

Vanilla Crepes
These crepes were so amazing good!! Having no butter on hand, I used olive oil instead. I also put extra oil in the pan, and I patted it dry afterwards. The oil helped to cook it better. My whole family loved this~ including my mother!!

Chocolate Chip Kiss Cookies
This was sooooooo good! (I made a dozen at a time) I only got to try one before it was all gone. It's best when it's warm and the kiss is melted. :)
