Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
This was the best pumpkin cheesecake, and the best cheesecake in general, that i've ever had! I've never had pumpkin pie or cheesecake topped with brown sugar or pecans, but it was the perfect toppingto compliment the spicy and creamy pumpkin cheesecake. I can't wait to make it again and pass this recipe on to my friends and kids when i have them XD

Mom's Pretzels

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2011
I wish I knew how to make them shiny, but I'm afraid that might involve added oil of some sort....they were amazing otherwise, esp when made with wheat. A little bit of salt or sugar goes a long way with these.

Baked Kale Chips

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2010
The first batch went for 10 minutes and burned, and the second batch was in for 5 minutes and came out perfect. I used butter flavored Pam to coat them evenly, and pepper to taste. I think next time I'll use a different spice. I hadn't realized kale was so strong, but I enjoy the flavor. We'll see what my family thinks. This is definitely something I'll make more often for a snack.

Fresh Herbed Halibut

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
I love white fish, and the seasonings were delicious. This is really easy to make, but it's easy to overdo the spices. I used dill weed, black pepper, and some Hawaiian salt (I should've used less), and the fillets tasted a little too salty (I think the salt was really strong). I'd recommend being generous with the dill weed and black pepper, or whatever spices you use, but not using too many different types, and sparing with the salt and olive oil, or the fillets will be really oily.

Best Ever Blueberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2011
It's best with a mix of fresh berries, and some chocolate chips. It's a really good recipe, though the crust could be a littler sweeter and softer

Chocolate Mint Dessert Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
Normally I make brownies out of chocolate chips and butter, or with brownie mix. i was confused when this recipe called for chocolate syrup. I don't like the way they tasted or the texture, but they went over well with my friends. Personally, i prefer making basic brownies from scratch, so I probably won't use this recipe again, but I won't give it bad recommendation in case it works well for someone else. I like the idea of the toppings, but having two layers is a bit much, so I'd probably flavor the brownies and top them with one layer.
