Im married and have 3 beautiful kids, 8, 5 &2. I love cooking, shopping and spending time with family. I always tell myself that I should have went to culinary school, but its never to late.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking all types of food, trying new things is always fun for me. If its a challenge I will take it on.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandmother always had her grandkids in the kithchen helping her cook for the holidays. Since I was the baby I was always the one there since everyone else was grown and had their own things going on. I loved helping her, all her recipes was made from scratch.
My cooking triumphs
I have some dishes come out way better then I thought they was.
My cooking tragedies
I have dishes come crashing down on me, didnt taste like I hoped or was just not what I was expecting.

Smothered Chicken Breasts
Made last night and it was delish! My kids even asked for seconds which is not normal. My husband HATES onions but these was so good he didn't even know what he was eating. I didn't have colby jack so I added strips of cheddar cheese and it tasted great. Will definitely make again with colby.

Honey Lime Chicken Wings
I loved it!!! I made them tonight for dinner and I was amazed with the honey flavor. I didnt change the recipe at all, all I did was season my chicken wings {which I didnt split} with season salt, garlic powder, & oregeno put then in the fridge for about an hour {longer if u want} then I took another reviews advice and coated them in the flour and put them back in the fridge for another 30 mins. I will make again, next time I will try to bake them.

Simple Creamy Lemon Chicken Sauce
I made this tonight with chicken tenderlions...its was pretty good. I added 2 cans with about 1/4c of half and half instead of water, half of a large lemon juice, & lemon zest. Browned my tenderlions after they marinated over night in olive oil, garlic powder, & thyme, added the sauce and let simmer for about 5-10 min. Turned out really nice....this is a keeper! =)
