Old Charleston Style Shrimp and Grits
Yup, really good. I'm using much less/no bacon next time though. Bacon makes it delicious but the grease hurt a little afterward (I'm 28) :-/ I see other reviewers skipped it- probably for the better. Still going on the list of dinner regulars.

Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews
It was tasty but there ended up being way too much water. I used fresh broccoli, drained them after cooking and measured the sauce to the T but ended up with the broccoli swimming in a soup of soy-water. I don't know how I could get any more moisture out of the broccoli so I would add cornstarch or flour to the sauce.

Allie's Delicious Baked Dumplings
Super delicious! I made these this morning as a New Years Day breakfast treat. I used Macintosh apples instead (only because I forgot which kind was specified while I was at the store) so I cut the sugar in half. I also skipped the drizzle so it wouldn't be too sweet for breakfast but I think I'll add it anyway next time.
