Frosted Banana Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2014
THIS RECIPE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I doubled it to make a pan to take to work and a pan for my boyfriend to take to work. It turned out more like a cake, but it was still yummy...and really moist!! SUPER HUGE HIT at my work and my boyfriend's work!! All The girls at work asked for the recipe, some took some home to their hubbys, and what was left I shoved into my mouth!!! LOVED it and will definitely make again!!!

Crabless Chicken Cakes

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2014
This was actually pretty good! After reading some of the reviews, I used a food processor on my chicken and mixed the rest of the ingredients in after. Everything stuck together pretty well. My boyfriend was kind of iffy about trying it, but he said it was pretty good. Thanks ITALIAN_MAN!

Ultimate Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2012
I LOVED it! After reading some of the reviews, I decided to double the amount of sauce (I like my noodles swimming in sauce). I wanted to use cream of chicken soup, because my boyfriend hates mushrooms, but I only had one can. So, I used a can of cream of chicken and a can of cream of mushroom. I really didn't have processed cheese, so I just mixed a bunch of cheeses...4oz of cream cheese, 7 slices of Kraft American cheese, and a cup of Sargentos 4-cheese Mexican shredded cheese. Believe it or not, the noodles tasted so good! My boyfriend LOVED them as well! I am definitely making this one again, but I think I'm going to add some shredded or cubed chicken to make a full meal out of it! Yummers! Thanks!

Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2012
On a side note, I've read other peanut butter fudge recipes calling for candy thermometers, putting a drop of the mixture into water too see of it forms a ball or whatever...too much work. I LOVE baking, but when it comes to fudge, I must stress that this was my first time ever making any kind of fudge or candy. I followed the recipe, for the most part, to a tee. I stirred the mixture semi-constantly (I did walk away a couple of times), and when it started to boil (rolling boil), I set my timer for 7 minutes. I also stirred while it was boiling (I was afraid it would burn to my pot or something). After 7 minutes, mixed in my marshmallow fluff with a wire whisk until it was thoroughly incorporated (I didn't have a 7-oz jar of fluff, I bought a 16-oz one and guestimated), then added my butter (used 2 cups of peanut butter because I had bought a big jar) and mixed with my whisk until incorporated, then guestimated 1tsp of vanilla extract. After everything was thoroughly mixed, I poured the mix into a 13x9-in aluminum pan, let it cool until warm to the touch, and placed in the fridge overnight (I like my fudge cold). Also, my stove has got to be the most ancient one in the world (a wall unit with the oven on top, and the part with the burners slides in and out of the wall). DELICIOUSNESS times 10!!

Jalapeno Rosemary Alfredo

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2012
OMG this sauce is so tasty and easy to make! I always have trouble with my alfredo sauces being bland and just not tasting right, but this one is so full of flavor! The ingredients go together so well. I only had a jar of sliced jalapenos on hand, but they worked out fine. Will definitely make this again!

Upside Down Pumpkin Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2011
I'm sorry to say I didn't really like this cake. I made it for Thanksgiving last year (2010), and others said they enjoyed it, but I wasn't really too fond of it. The cake/pecan crust was awesome, but the pumpkin part tasted kind of bland...just a lightly sweetened version of pumpkin filling. I probably won't make this again. Sorry!
