Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
I made chicken strips using the breading in this receipe and it was so good, my husband says he will never order chicken strips anywhere ever again. The breading was crunchy but not greasy, and the chicken was juicy. I even made an account on this website just so I could save this recipe!

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
I've always made these with white almond bark. They are a big hit at work, and everyone always asks how they are made! It's so easy!

Taco Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2010
This was extremely good, my husband ate half the pan in one setting. The only thing I did differently was adding a can of black beans and used about half the cheese. Topped with salsa and it was delish. Even when I reheated it in the oven the next day it tasted like it was freshly cooked.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2010
This pot pie rocked. I did my own mix of veggies--fresh brocoli, a potato, carrots, and frozen peas. I'd never had a pot pie with chicken that tasted so juicy. Looking forward to making it with beef next week!

Broccoli, Rice, Cheese, and Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
It may be my own fault for following others suggestions, but I made this using a packet of onion soup instead of an onion and it was a disaster. Using canned chicken for anything other than chicken salad is a bad idea. The texture was bad, using two cans of cream soup was hard to swallow, and even though I used a whole jar of cheese whiz nothing overpowered the onion creamy taste.

very yummy and simple to make, was looking for a breakfast recipe that didn't take an hour to cook and this very much fit the bill!

made this for a Christmas side dish and it was a hit! Doubled the recipe and the entire dish was gobbled up by 6 very impressed people!

French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
My husband said after eating this he will never eat regular french toast again! I thought it was great myself, but I sprinkeled some pecans over the top of mine (after it was done cooking.) Next time I would probably add some raisins or something to add to the breadiness.

Lemon Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
This was quite delicious. I cooked the rice separate, using the chicken broth and lemon juice instead of water and wow what a difference that makes! I'm not a master of cooking chicken on the stovetop so it was a little dry, probably due to my fear of undercooking it and not cooking it with the rice and broth. But yummy nonetheless, and I'll definately make it again!

Ragu® Upside-Down Deep Dish Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
I thought this was pretty great. I used extra broccoli because I love it in calzones and pizza. The canned crust was good but next time I'm going to look into a homemade dough recipe.

Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2011
Delicious! Me and the husband polished off this dish in one setting, which never happens! It was too good to save some for leftovers. Also loved the ease since nothing really HAS to be measured!

Potato Casserole IV

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
Wasn't a fan of this...the cream of chicken soup didn't mesh well with the potatos and the butter made the cornflakes taste funny.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
Not a fan. All I tasted was salt from the crackers and the meat wasn't very moist. I've had much better meatloaf!

Sunday Morning Lemon Poppy Seed Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2011
I'm in love with these pancakes! I add a little extra poppyseed and lemon juice since I don't always have a lemon laying around for the zest, but they always turn out amazing!

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2011
This marinade works wonders on a cheaper cut of steak and makes it taste better than it would on its own. I wasn't as impressed when I used it on thick cut ribeye steaks, it didn't have the same effect and made the meat taste oily.

Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
Never in a million years would I imagine this mix of ingredients could be so delicious. I made a half batch and my husband and I polished em off in one setting. Hubby proclaimed them to be the "best dessert he has ever had" and neither of us even like Mountain Dew on it's own. I will definately be making these for a family get together in the near future!

Slow Cooker Carnitas

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
The first night I made these the cinnamon was very apparent, not bad but it had a distinctive cinnamon taste. The leftovers however were even better than the first night. My hubby and I ate this for 4 meals n a row, as pork tacos and pork burrito bowls, and it was so good I actually looked forward to eating it for lunch and dinner 2 days in a row!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2011
Fantastic! I was looking to make something that would take me and my hubby back to our last trip to Chicago, where we ate at Al's Beef after seeing it on Man Vs Food. This fit the bill and a 2.5 lb roast made three nights worth of the most delicious Italian Beef sandwiches. Especially delicious when eaten on Rotella's hoagies and dipped in the juices (I did use beef broth instead of just water.)

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2011
This made for an excellent dinner and lots of yummy leftovers. I prefered mine without extra bbq sauce on it as the meat was flavorful and tender on its own. Would make this again!
