Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2014
Amazing with the changes I made. Everyone loves it and it will be our Christmas breakfast. I used 1/2 loaf home made wheat bread, 6 eggs, 2 cups milk, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice, 1/2 cup pumpkin. I dipped the bread before putting it in the pan. There was very little liquid left. Soaked over night and used honey instead of kero syrup. It was amazing. We also cooked it a little longer uncovered.

Best Bread Machine Bread

Very good but I changed it to 1/2 whole wheat, used coconut oil or butter instead or vegetable oil. It's a good recipe and I'm glad I tried it!

Personal Portobello Pizza

Reviewed: May 15, 2014
Not bad. A little runny, and I used chicken on top instead of the toppings she suggested. I'd cook it longer next time but not bad, I did take out the gills as well. Better texture that way.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Not bad. I prefer an oatmeal mix but not bad at all. I did get about 3 1/2 dozen and cooked for an extra almost 4 minutes. They won't last long. Double it.

Pumpkin French Toast Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2014
This was honestly really yummy but doesn't taste like pumpkin at all. Either double the pumpkin and the spices or you just get a yummy bread pudding type breakfast.

Amazing. Made this for the adults at a kid party. They were a huge hit! I'll make them again, but not any time soon.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2014
It was okay. Not bad. Hubby liked it and the kids thought it was good. I don't like it made in the slow cooker. I think it's better without.

Steff's Shepherd Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2014
We loved this but I gave it 4 because we changed quite a bit of it and the mashed potatoes didn't have directions. We made our mashed potatoes with a little butter, cheese, garlic, onion powder, pepper, and chicken stock and doubled it. We used lamb instead of beef, and added corn to the lamb mixture. It was great. Everyone loved it.

Really good for egg and dairy free! I did have to cook it 10 minutes longer, but also subed almond milk for water and 2 tbsp. oil for 2 applesauce. Very fluffy and great for allergies!

Simple and Delicious Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2014
Awesome. I changed it a bit to make it dairy free for my niece. I used coconut oil instead of butter and almond milk for the milk. It was great and very light. I may always use this version instead of the regular dairy one!

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2013
We LOVE this recipe. Mostly because it's so basic we change it to whatever we want. I've made chicken and rice with corn and carrots that was a huge hit with my kid. I've also made a beef, carrots, and broccoli version. Very hard to mess up and so easy to make your own!

Love them! I went with butter instead of shortening, more cinnamon, and whole wheat flour. Wonderful and healthy for a cookie. Sure to be a favorite around here.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2012
Would be a 5 if she'd said to make it in a larger pan all together. I followed the recipe exactly the first time and they were too dry. This time I made them in a 9 by 13. They look perfect at 30 mins baked. Making cream cheese icing for these! Yum. (:

Snickerdoodles I

Very good! I think I've only had one recipe better, but can't find it. So this is the new go to. These are perfect and fluffy. If someone had a problem with them, they didn't follow the directions! I love how easy the dough is to handle, not sticky at all, makes perfect little fluffy cookies. Yum! OH and we got a lot more than 36 cookies from the "walnut" sized balls, we got almost 80.
