Barengate Bay Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2002
Pretty good although I think I'll use cream of mushroom, celery or chicken next time. I used half white wine and half chicken stock. I also used a lot more garlic and mushrooms. I'll make this again and experiment until it's fantastic! Thanks.

Pecan Breaded Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2002
Absolutely wonderful way to prepare good old chicken breasts! Loved it and plan to make it for company. Don't know if kids would like it or not. My guess is yes. Not only will I make this frequently but I will pass the recipe along. Thanks! SHARON

Chinese Napa Cabbage Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2002
This was wonderful! I even liked the dressing and I usually prefer to make my own. Throw in some sliced chicken breasts and as another rater suggested, you have a main dish for those hot summer days. No almonds? Use dry roasted peanuts. You could even add some shreaded carrots for color. This is a very versatile, easy, fast & delicious recipe. Thanks!

Garlic Chicken And Grapes

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2002
Yum! This was really easy, quick and good. I would only use chicken breasts however. I also used garlic infused olive oil instead of salad oil. I loved the sauce and think it added that extra "something" that put this recipe in the 4-star category. Thanks.

Mediterranean Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2002
I really didn't care for this pasta, I think it was the canned tomatoes. I won't make this again but I would suggest that maybe some garlic could be added and use either fresh tomatoes or your favorite pasta sauce. I added garlic (one big fat clove, pressed) and lots of fresh rosemary and oregano and it still didn't help. I couldn't taste the bacon at all and would leave it out next time. This recipe is quick and easy but I don't think kids would like it. Sorry Sara.

Mulligatawny Soup I

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2004
I absolutely love this soup! It's my new favorite comfort food. I usually bring some for lunch and my colleagues always ask for the recipe.I direct them to All Recipes site and credit Lise P. I add just a little more curry and a large clove of diced garlic along with the carrots, onions and celery - although it's just about perfect the way it is. Thanks!

Asparagus Cashew Rice Pilaf

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2004
This was wonderful! I have made a pilaf similar to this for years using button mushrooms & chicken broth. I like this much better. It's fast, easy & foolproof! I used Fideo (vermicelli) instead of the spaghetti and served it at a dinner party. Everyone asked for the recipe! Thank you so much!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2002
This is really delicious! There is so little work involved for the amount of flavor you get. It's easy. I used real bacon instead of the bits and it was great. I'll make this a lot.

Chicken Monterey

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2002
Yummy! Really good dish but I think that next time I might try to cut down on the fat content by using a tablespoon of olive oil instead of butter. I know that butter adds flavor but I have to be alive to taste it. I may also cut down on the flour in the sauce. It was a little thick.Other than that-this one is a keeper! SHARON

I have now made this several times. Once I brought it to work as a treat during break and there was none left! My grandsons also love it. This is a wonderful summer dessert.
