Follow the tips and these were wonderful!! Increases flour to 11/2 cups, increase baking soda to 1 tsp, added half tsp cinnamon and only 1tsp real vanilla. Only used half tsp salt. Used only 2cups quick oats. I added 1 tsp molasses. Split the cookie dough and made one with choc chips and the other with pecans & golden raisins. Refrigerated dough 30 mins before and baked on parchment paper in my electric oven on 345, 9-10 mins. Do not over cook them! Cool full 5 mins before placing on cooling rack. Keep dough in fridg. 1 also added 1/4 tsp baking powder. Slightly under cook them. They were a Hugh hit. Very soft and chewy and great flavor, a keeper! Make them a bit bigger cause they do shrink a bit, they spread a little not a super thick cookie, but I like how they turned out. Only used the mixer for the butter and sugars and eggs, then mixed with spatula, don't over beat the dough. Will make these again and again! Thanks!
