Easy, Cheesy Tortellini Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2014
Simmered 1c heavy cream with 1/4 c. butter for the white sauce, added marinara sauce and 1 T It. seasoning and simmered for 10 more min. Added the cooked tortellini. Poured it into 8x8 glass baking dish. Sprinkled Motz and Parm on top, broiled a few minutes. Served with Motz broccoli. Good leftovers too.

Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2012
I had never made corn chowder before but it seemed a lot like Potatos soup/stew so I thought I'd try it. It turned out beautifully. I used our own corn that we froze (off the cob) in the fall and made the cream corn. This added a ton of flavor. Cream corn is easy to make, it just takes extra time. Didnt really make any other changes. I doubled the recipe. It was a huge hit at the potluck, many asked for the recipe.

Beef Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2012
This recipe is perfect. I have been making beef roasts for years and this is one of the best recipes for an oven roasted roast. I used about a 3-4lb round boneless roast. Very moist, tender, excellent flavor (surprising for the lack of ingredients), sliced beautifully. Tossed in Yucon potatos the last 40 minutes (I tossed the potatos in olive oil and season salt before adding them). Follow the time and ingredients exactly to make the perfect roast.

Chinese Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2012
A little salty but good. I used bone in 3/4" chops, marinated for about 45 minutes, then baked in a glass baking dish covered for 15 minutes, uncovered 10 minutes. Next time I would baked uncovered the entire time and for only about 20 minutes. Mine were a little tough and dry. I used the juice as an au jus and diped the pieces in. Made White rice and fresh green beans - spashed the juices on them also. All in all a great marinade.

White Cake Frosting I

Reviewed: May 29, 2012
Excellent for speading and decorating, very smooth. Tastes fatty, not like a good buttercream frosting.
