Coconut Ice Cream

Awesome coconut ice cream! The best I have ever eaten. Will make this over and over again. Perfect with no changes to the recipe at all. Loved it!

Cracked Sugar Cookies I

These are very good cookies. I agree with the reviews that say the dough balls need to be somewhat flattened. And the dough is very dry and difficult to stir. Sticking my hands in to mix in the flour worked well. Not the best sugar cookies ever. They need some icing or sugar sprinkles to make them sweet enough for my idea of a sugar cookie. I will make them again.

Italian Cheese Bread

This was the nastiest bread ever. The pepper was completely overwhelming!! It was all I could taste and it burned my mouth it was so strong. I couldnt even begin to taste the cheese in this bread which is why I made it in the first place. Renaming this "Pepper Bread" would be a far more accurate description.

Boneless Buffalo Wings

These turned out perfect for a family that LOVES boneless wings. I used a jar of wing sauce but followed the recipe other than that. These would work well for regular fried chicken strips without the sauce as well. Very good! Plus I should mention that I have never made fried chicken with a crust/coating before and these turned out perfect.

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

I made this and it turned out okay, not bad. I wish there were a little more direction on the amount of soy and sesame oil. I am not one of those people who can judge this by themselves very well. And we are the type who go for these simple kinds of recipes. I did add onion and fresh garlic to the wok before anything else. I also had some left over pork that went in. I think without those it would have just been bland.

Mozechilli Casserole

I made this following some of the other reviewer's recommendations- I cooked onion and garlic with the beef and added Italian seasoning and pepper to the meat. The only cheese I had was one of those shredded multi-cheese things so I used that. I didn't use all of the noodles because it seemed like it was too much. It turned out very tasty- much better than I thought it would be after scrounging for ingredients that I had on hand. GREAT idea to make with whatever you have available.

Paprika Chicken with Mushrooms

I really didn't find this as great as some of the other reviewers. I followed some of the suggested changes- lots of extra seasoning, added cream to the sauce, and this was still bland and the sauce was very thin. We ate it, but I won't make it again.

Spicy Black Bean Cakes

These were a hit at a recent party. I made small appetizer size patties and they didn't want to stay together and it seemed like I had to bake them a lot longer than the recipe says, but the taste was great. The lime sour cream was a perfect compliment to the cakes. Very good.

Baked Potato Skins

These skins had a very nice flavor. The mixture that is brushed on the skins is very nice. I baked the potatos in the microwave and they didn't turn out very crunchy at all. Next time I will bake them in the oven.

I read all the great reviews and decided to make these for a holiday party. Big mistake! Mushy and bland! Can I take away the one star and give them zero stars? Horrible!!! One person at the party spit it out!

Tortilla Rollups II

I add a sprinkle of cayenne pepper to each roll before rolling them up. These things are addictive. People clear the plate at parties. Always a hit and easy to make.

Bacon and Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms

I made these exactly according to the recipe for a Thanksgiving appetizer (doubled the recipe) and they were gone within minutes. Everyone loved them and several asked for the recipe. I have since made them for almost every family event on request and every time they disappear quickly. I can't show up without these things!
