Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2013
Made it twice now and turned out great. The only adjustment I made was adding an additional tomato and did not add olives - but those are only personal preferences. I'll be adding this to my list of things to bring to potlucks.

Carla's Fruit Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2013
Two thumbs up! Made this for a party and everyone loved it. I did the recommendation that someone else had said of putting 8oz strawberry creme cheese instead of the 3oz plain cream cheese. It does make a lot of the fruit dip. I'll be making this again.

Grama's Corn Flake Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2013
Simple, easy and yummy. I had corn flakes that were going to go to waste and found this recipe. Took about 10 minutes and that was with my 4 year old helping. I added a half cup chocolate chips right before I dropped them on the wax paper. You could add anything you may have in them (mini m&m's, any kind of chocolate chips, nuts, etc).

Chocolate Pudding Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2013
We make this at Thanksgiving in addition to a Pumpkin Pie. My 4 year old loves it, and it's lower calorie than most desserts.

Caramelized Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2012
This recipe came up when I was searching for kid friendly chicken recipes. I was skeptical at first but my toddler loved them. I struggle like most parents through irrational eating patterns of toddlers. She had not eaten chicken in months. The smell is great and that enticed her to give it a try. - I did make two changes, but not intentionally. I thought we had Soy Sauce in the house, and did not discover we did not until I was just about to make it. I had a bottle of teriyaki sauce and used that instead. I also only had red wind vinegar in the house. We will definitely be making these again!

Mini Pumpkin Butterscotch Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2011
I made these for my 3 year old's preschool class for their Thanksgiving Feast and they loved them. They freeze well too. I made extra and froze them for an easy snack for my toddler. My husband told me "I don't like butterscotch chips but these are good!"

Zucchini-Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2011
These were great! I doubled the chocolate chips like previous reviewers mentioned (I think they would be good either way). I also didn't shred the zucchini but instead sliced it and threw it in the blender briefly. I have a toddler and if she found shredded and/or chunks of anything in the muffins she would have refused to eat it. They received the toddler "thumbs up" and my husband who doesn't like fruit or veges in his desserts liked them:)

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2010
These were excellent!! I made them for my 2 year old's daycare class for their Thanksgiving meal. They were the perfect size treat for little hands, and a toddler friendly way to introduce pumpkin as a dessert:) I did use a different recipe for the filling because I normally don't cook with shortening. I had no problem making them about the same size as each other (a previous post encountered that problem). I didn't realize making Whoopie Pies could be so easy.
