Best Cream Of Broccoli and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2013
Made this soup mostly to directions. I added a 2nd potato cut into very small cubes and steamed. Left some of the broccoli on the side to.add later along with the steamed potato; this added a heartiness that a completely pureed soup lacks. Other than that, everything else was to recipe and this is definitely a keeper! Very tasty and rich. Will be making this often in the future!

Dorsey's Cream of Crab Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2013
As with other reviewers, I left out a lot of the water and added it at the end to achieve the consistency I wanted. Also, I steamed the potatoes so they were tender-crisp and addded them at the same time as the crab meat. More Old Bay does the trick! If not for too much water and too few seasonings, this would be a 5 star recipe.

The Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2012
My husband is very fussy about his chocolate chip cookies and he said these were the best he's ever had! I also did as others suggested and substituted baking powder for the soda and the cookies came out perfect. I baked them for 10 minutes for the soft version. My husband made me promise to never lose this recipe!!

Peach Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2011
I have had this recipe for years and it is always a favorite at my house or any home I take it to. I always double the recipe, bake in a 9x13x2 glass dish andrefrigerate after cooling to set the cream cheese filling. Plus, the cinnamon/sugar topping - I add more than called for. More is better!!

Peaches 'N Cream Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
I have had and used this recipe for years. It always goes over big and there are no leftovers-ever. I usually double the recipe and bake in a 9"x13"x2" glass dish. And the more cinnamon and sugar on top, the better! I even keep the cinnamon/sugar combo in a small salt shaker at all times; that's how many times I make this!

Veal Scaloppini with Lemon Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2011
The first time I made this recipe,I followed it exactly and have not found any reason to change much of anything. The only thing I do differently is add some steamed vegetables to the sauce prior to serving: asparagus, broccoli, or whole green beans. This has turned out to be my husband's favorite recipe and if he could have it for every meal, he would. As it stands, I make it minimally every 2 weeks!
