I made these today and was very sucessful with just a few additions and changes... First off i cut the recipe in half and I use ground turkey (85/15) instead of beef. I added, about 1/4 cup of milk, 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese, and some chopped onion (because i didnt have any soup mix on hand) to 1/2 cup of bread crumbs. I baked them at 350 for no more then 25 minutes then put them in my favorite spagetti sauce to simmer for 3 or 4 hours or so. And yes simmering them for this long is very important for both the meatballs and the sauce.
