I read a lot of reviews prior to making these. Hubby is a true vegetarian so I had to omit the egg. I used EVERYTHING above, except I used 1/2 red bell pepper since I didn't have green. I added about 1/4 of a small zucchini, chopped and about 1/2 of a small carrot chopped as well (used my processor) I also mashed the beans with my potato masher and used a paper towel to squeeze them to make sure all water was out. I did the same thing with ALL the veggies prior to adding to the beans. I added about 1 tbsp of fat free thousand island dressing to sort of make up for the lack of egg and the consistency. I also added some parsley flakes, 1 tbsp salt, 1/2 tablespoon of cracked black pepper and I cut the cumin down to under a teaspoon. I added a dash of cayenne pepper....everything mixed together awesome and I got 3 nice size patties out of the recipe. I used parchment paper on a baking sheet and sprayed it with a lowfat nonstick spray. I also put a small cup of water on the pan to add some moisture while they were cooking...
