Grilled Bacon Jalapeno Wraps

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2011
I've been fixing these for football games, family get togethers, etc for a few years now. I cook them in the oven during winter months. It takes about 30-45 minutes on 400 to get them done. Takes a while but sooo worth the wait. My family and kids love them.

Turkey Ragu with Fontina and Parmesan

Reviewed: May 18, 2012
Made this last night. Family loved it. Really good and easy. I added 1 can diced tomatoes, can of tomato paste (oregano, basil and garlic flavored) and 1/2 jar of pizza sauce. It wasn't dry. I couldn't find fontina cheese so I bought mascarpone cheese. Used 4 oz. Very tasty! I used Bowtie pasta instesd of elbow macaroni since I had it on hand. I wouldn't do that again. It was too much pasta in this dish for my taste. Will definately make again.

Best Peppermint Bark

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2012
I have tried this receipe several times. I used chocolate chips the first time. It was just okay. I decided to try the Amond Bark. I loved the white almond bark the best. I quadrupled the recipe, 24 ounces of Almond Bark to 12 regular sized peppermint sticks. I prefer to crush the peppermint sticks very well otherwise they stick in your teeth. I put in a jelly roll pan and chilled for 1 hour. YUMMO! This makes a more chunkier bark, which I loved. I have even done the Chocolate Bark, White Almond bark and even did a layer of chocolate bark, chilled for an hour, a layer of White Almond bark on top, chilled for another hour. It was good but the White Almond bark is my families favorite. I even told a friend about this recipe and she made it for her family this Christmas. They loved it too. It's easy and cheap and tastes like store bought. Merry Christmas!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2013
I tried this tonight. I added 2-3 oz of cream cheese and about 1/2 tsp of nutmeg, like other reviews suggested. I cut back on the parmesan cheese just a little. Wow! Olive Garden copycat is right. I loved it. WIll be making this again and again.
