Cowboy Oatmeal Cookies

Good cookies! Made these with the kids...very easy. We used half butterscotch chips and half peanut butter. Tasty!

Easy Honey Mustard Mozzarella Chicken

This recipe is really...mustardy! I don't know...I like mustard but it was a bit much. I used 50/50 Dijon and yellow. Maybe that was the problem. But hey - it was something different! Gotta mix it up.

Carne Asada Tacos

Oh yeah! These are great. Followed a previous suggestion and used the La Victoria sauce instead of making the sauce. We used flour tortillas and made these into burritos (easier for my kids to eat). Good with pepper jack, too!

I followed the directions, cooking it in the oven. My husband really liked this...the kids didn't. I served it with salad and crusty bread. (Could have used more gravy).

Pork Chops with Fresh Tomato, Onion, Garlic, and Feta

I really liked this recipe but my family really did not. I think the feta was too much for them. They scraped all the toppings off the pork chops and then ate the chops....there was just more for me :)

Caribbean Chicken Salad

I had high expectations for this one...came together easy...smelled great on the grill. My family didn't like it. The kids wouldn't eat more than one bite. Glad I served this with rolls! The vinegar/mustard dressing was just too much, I think. I even served it on the side. But at least we tried it :)

Ginger Steak

Fabulous! Prep time was only 2 min. I did not add the salt due to the soy sauce and I threw my steaks on the grill outside. My kids ate this up and we actually ran out of steak. Will make this again.

Greek Style Garlic Chicken Breast

This is super easy and tastes great! I love the tang of the lemon juice on the chicken. I followed previous advice to add a bit of thyme...and I threw in a bunch more garlic because we love spicier food. It was very juicy and had lots of flavor. Will totally make this again. Grilled it outside in 15 degree winter, too!

The Old Boy's Strawberry Pie

This was awesome! I've never had strawberry pie before. I used a 9" crust...mounded the berries. But they didn't cook down as expected and I still had a pile in the middle when it was done...I'll spread them out more next time. Nobody complained, tho!
