Spaghetti Pinot Grigio with Seafood!
My mom and I
About this Cook
I'm 23,about to get my math degree(thank goodness!) and love to cook.I was the weird little girl, when everyone else was at the pool for the summer, I was in the kitchen baking cakes and cookies. After a long day of work and college, I love to find relaxation in a glass of red wine while cooking a delicious meal.
My favorite things to cook
Indian, Italian, mom's recipes, and french
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cooking with mom and being a "martha stewart Jr." with my aunt which is named"Martha stewart" while making holiday meals for the family.
My cooking triumphs
My ultimate triumph is when my french boyfriend constantly requests meals. (yes, tis true, the french are veryyyy picky). The french believe in peeling EVERY vegetable...EVEN A MUSHROOM???I can now say, I peel my mushrooms.
My cooking tragedies
Making a new recipe that is extremely advanced(Julia Childs)and I'm in a rush so its not bad but not as good as the picture looks heh. Also when i was 8, I tried to convert from just making desserts to main dishes and baked a piece of chicken breast and laid it on top of some iceberg lettuce for good presentation....well...the chicken was rubber and the iceburg just didn't help. My poor mom and dad.

Heather's Grilled Salmon
I must admit...I am one to definitely fry the fish I make or cover it with some sauce and this is just about the only fish recipe where I can eat it without doing any of that.Thank you ! This recipe is perfect. Love the marinade!

Hudson's Baked Tilapia with Dill Sauce
I must say...i based this rating on the sauce. ITS AMAZING and soooo easy! I didn't make the fish the way it described in the recipe. Like other reviewers, i cooked mine in half butter/half olive oil in a skillet really hot and did a nice crust on it. excellent. served with some sauteed carrots with some butter and honey and herbs. excellent.
