About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook breads, and especially desert breads such ad banana bread. Carrot cake with butter cream icing is also one I love to make. But mostly I just enjoy good home cooking, and comfort food, and stay clear of the gourmet fancy stuff. We just don't like fancy foods.

Mayonnaise Biscuits
I make these all the time! Good for breakfast or dinner, you can add stuff to take them up a notch, and it only takes a couple mins to whip some up, really, I have made these first thing in the morning, and before the coffee was done these were in the oven and smelling good. These are drop biscuits. The bad reviews, probably didnt realize that. Or they may have used miracle whip instead of mayo maybe. I have added more flour to these, and actually rolled, fold, and cut these as well, and that worked fine too. But as written, it makes a good quick biscuit.

Banana Banana Bread
I buy up bunches of ripe bananas at the grocery for 19-29 cents a lb and freeze them for banana bread. I tried this recipe for the first time, I added some cinnamon, and vanilla. It's a pretty good one. Takes extra time to bake but was pretty good.
