I am a wife and mother of 3 children. I grew up in Mason City, IL, but moved to North Carolina 7 years ago. I enjoy trying new recipes and love tasting different foods. I love my comfort foods like mac 'n cheese. Still, enjoy unique foods like sushis and Mexican chorizo. I have to make Korean egg roll every so often. Plus, my mom's gingersnap cookies are out of this world! Cooking gives me such special moments with my kids. I loved learning how to make a perfectly juicy Thanksgiving turkey. Getting my gingersnaps to crinkle perfectly on top is definitely a highlight, too. I make good homemade mashed potatoes, usually. My first Thanksgiving I added too much milk and my potatoes were so runny. My in-laws don't ever let me forget that.
