About this Cook
I love to experiment with food. I really hate processed foods, and lately I've been trying to make EVERYTHING from scratch, from ketchup to noodles to cheese (hope to add wine to this list soon). I believe the more I actually create myself from REAL food, the healthier it will be. Closer to the source. Yes it takes a lot of time and effort but I think it's worth it. Yes, I do work for a living (single mom here)and I am on a very tight budget, so I try to make my dollar stretch as far as it possibly can! Cheap and healthy is mostly what I'm all about. But making meal time fun and a family affair is important too.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style
Excellent blend of spices! I double the blend and keep it in a jar on my spice rack to use even when I make a couple pieces at a time. Thanks for sharing!

Hawaiian Spareribs
The sauce was excellent! Due to the fat content in the ribs, I would render off the fat first as suggested by Button Love. Thanks for sharing, this is a nice alternative to the same old bbq ribs.

The Real Chicago Deep Dish Pizza Dough
OMG! I've always been a thin-crust type, but this deep dish recipe is fabulous. Thank you for sharing!
