Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

This is very, very good. I had never made beef stew before seeing this recipe. This is now my go-to recipe! I like dumplings, though, so I mixed together Magpie's crockpot dumpling recipe and cooked them on top of the stew. Fantastic1

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

This was very good. I followed the directions other than to bake the biscuits in the oven and then pour then once they were done, pour the chicken mixture over the hot biscuits (chicken and biscuit style). After reading a lot of the posts, the 'dumplings' seemed more like a hassle than anything else, and the chicken and biscuit version was really, really good!

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

I admit that I have not yet tried this, but the problem I always seem to have with slow cooker recipes is shrinkage. I am wondering if, even with the lean ground beef, the patties shrink much. I always start out with enough food for all of us and wind up with very little.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

I almost gave this two stars, but honestly, it didn't even deserve that. I find it very hard to believe that this cake is 5 star rated. I followed this recipe to a "T", and baked it at 350 in a bundt, not for 55 minutes...more like an hour and 50 minutes. An HOUR and 50 MINUTES. And then, of course, it was too done on the outside, crispy, and not done enough inside. This recipe was not to my liking.

Deep Dish Alfredo Pizza

Burnt to a crisp. Charred. I had it on 450 degrees, not for 35 minutes, but only for 30. Hard as a rock, black, and like I said, charred.

Easy Sausage Stuffing

Very easy, very versatile (meaning I use this not only for Thanksgiving but also for random weekday dinners) and very tasty. The only issue I had was that it was much too soggy. I followed the recipe to a 'T' so the next time I make it, I will have to cut the chicken broth down to 2 cups instead of 2 and 1/2 cups. Other than that, great!
