Love cooking and trying new recipes. Still learning a lot. Recently purchased a pressure cooker, and am having a lot of fun exploring the many things it can do, quickly!
My favorite things to cook
Salmon, chicken, pork, beef, and veggie dishes.
My favorite family cooking traditions

Honey Beet Salad
Simply a delicious recipe! I may have added just a wee bit more blue cheese than the recipe calls for, because I love blue cheese! I've added it to my recipe box, and will be making more, soon. It's Great!

Vegan Black Bean Soup
Made as close as possible to the original recipe. My differences were, 2 cups dry black beans, cooked in a pressure cooker. Drained beans, reserved half for the pot, and the other half for the tomato/bean puree. Used, Better Than Bouillon, vegetable bouillon, for the broth portion of the recipe. The soup was great, and will definitely make again!

Pressure Cooker Carnitas
Made this tonight and my wife, and I, thoroughly enjoyed! Though there was no salt called for, I added 3/4 tsp, and still needed a bit more on the plate. Served with fresh chopped onion, avocado, and sour cream dollops, over rice, and was a very satisfied diner! Bravo to, "yellowpairs", thank you! PS, cooked in a Fagor pressure cooker, under high pressure, for 55 minutes. Used country style, bone in, pork ribs. Delicious!
