Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2013
I used regular flour, but added 1.5 tsp baking powder and .5 tsp salt for every cup of flour. Instead of oil, I used applesauce, and for fun I added a little cinnamon and vanilla. While frying, I added a few 6 - 7 chocolate chips -- the family favorite. They hit the spot! yum!

Awesome dip! The cayenne pepper gives it an unexpected kick. I also added 1/4 tsp garlic salt and one fresh crushed garlic clove. :)

Original NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE® Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2011
This is one of my co-workers favorite treats that I bake -- except, I dont have time for the cookies, so i spread the dough in a pan. Family takes the first (sometimes 2nd row) and work gets the rest! :)

Our favorite lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2011
Fast, easy and had great flavor. changed a couple of things... used ricotta cheese vs. cottage cheese, and extra mozzarella. For the sauce, I purchased a specialty type marinara sauce at Sendiks called Michaels of Brooklyn. Pretty simple and turned out great! Family approved.

All I had on hand was pumpkin pie filling; so I mixed with pancake mix, sprinkled with extra all spice, added choc chips -- and in only a few minutes we had delicious breakfast!! :)

Slider-Style Mini Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2011
The buns were too crusty after being in the oven. These were something different, but I would not make them again.

Carrot Bread II

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2011
Great flavor and very moist! Instead of the carrot baby food, I use a cup of pulp from my juicer. Generally, combo of carrots, apple and what ever else combined to make the juice of the day.

Artichoke Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2010
Easy and healthy alternative to using sour cream and cream cheese. I used vanilla soy milk, which makes recipes even more creamier! This was something different and lots of good flavors to take in. I will make this again! :)

Chicken and Turkey Marinade

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
My husband made this rub for our Thanksgiving turkey. We used the cooking bag to marinade the turkey, and then the next morning, I took the turkey from the fridge to the oven. Very easy for me! (We did not stuff the turkey.) The bag was full of juice -- we let the turkey sit for 20 minutes before cutting. It made the most flavorful gravy! :)

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
Great taste and easy to make. I use 2 garlic cloves and fresh chopped onion vs. the garlic and onion powders. To cook the roast, I used the 'High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast' recipe from this site. Tender and delicious!

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

First time I cooked at a temp so high -- but it turned out great. I used the rub from Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast (recipe from this site). Whole family loved the roast and the house smelled great.

Thanksgiving Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
I cut down on the liquid by using one of the two cans; you can adjust by using more or less of the flour/cinnamon mixture. (without liquid, it would be too dry) I cut down on the sugar based on others feedback -- and used half white and half brown sugar (vs. all white). My son loved the marshmallows! Go all aboard on them... and please the kid inside you! It is sweet and complimentary to the meal. Enjoy!
