Dog Treats I

I made these for my mom's pups for Christmas. They LOVED them, and they normally turn their noses up at dog treats!

Homemade Biscuit Mix

Excellent! To make your own buttermilk, combine 1 cup milk with 1 TBSP white vinegar, stir, let sit for 2-3 minutes. You will only need 2/3 Cup buttermilk for this recipe.

I had to make changes. Added an extra cup water, as the soup was too thick. Had to cook an additional 2 hours to get beans and lentils tender. DON'T ADD PASTA until 20 minutes or so before serving. Needed alot more seasoning. Once tweaked, it is very good. Looks wonderful in jars! Perfect for gift giving!

Cappuccino in a Jar

Cindy, this is delicious! I can't wait to give as gifts...if we don't drink first! I added extra cinnamon just because I love it, but recipe is great without any "tweaking".

German Chocolate Birthday Cake

Just excellent! A definate favorite in this house! Becel instead of butter and Partly skimmed evaporated milk worked well ( we have to be heart smart here). I deviated from baking instructions and poured into a greased, floured round cake pan. I don't recommend doing this, you need the waxed paper! I filled the holes with icing, so nobody knew!
