Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2012
I loved this and am planning on using it for a rice salad that I make in the spring and summer. We had it over salads we had for dinner this week, but the wife(me) refrigerated it. Mistake! the oil and vinegar didn't have time to blend well enough and of course, my husband was the first to use it. His words " it is kind of tangy" Really? It should be with almost 2/3 cup of vinegar on your salad..I said later.. (I scaled the orignal recipe down to 12 servings) and it fits perfectly in a Good Seasons mix yourself bottle! I love this tangy zesty dressing. And I also love that I can add other ingredients if I want! What about some crumbled feta cheese or even some minced onion or garlic flakes next time? Yum..Yum thanks for a great recipe!

Molasses Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
OMG!!! These cookies are the best. I made them for my Christmas bags, and am now planning to make more because I keep going back for "just one more" The recipe makes a ton, and makes the whole house smell awesome while baking. VERY easy recipe. I didn't use shortening, but butter instead. Easy putting together, and the next day just scooped them out, rolled and in the oven. You will keep this recipe in your recipe box. A must!!!!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2003
I am usually not very good with bread recipes, but I really wanted to make homemade pizza. This is a great pizza crust recipe. I added italian spices and actually did it the day before. I made it as the recipe said, then just put it in the frig. The next morning, it had rised and I just deflated it and put it back in the frig until I came home from work. Then finished the crust as the recipe said. And it gave me one GIANT pizza. Much too big for my pizza stone. Next time I will just make two pizza out of this recipe. This recipe is a keeper. Now I only get take out pizza when I don't have time to make this.

Herbed Batter Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2003
This is the only bread recipe that I can do with awesome results. It is the easiest and the quality of the rolls are great, especially during the holidays. I have also made more than the recipe calls for. I suggest using a 12 muffin tin. I have used different herbs that I like such as thyme, and rosemary when I make them with a roasted chicken. Experiment with the recipe. And make sure to place this one in your recipe box, because people will be asking for the recipe.

Crispy Cucumbers and Tomatoes in Dill Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2002
Being from South NJ, the summer for me always includes jersey tomates, and if you have a garden or know someone with a garden, they are always around. The recipe is easy and everyone in my family loves it. The dill is a nice change of pace and is not too much. Using the apple cider vinegar also makes it not as strong as using white vinegar.

Creamy Lemon Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2002
I used eggbeaters and light cool whip and this cake came out GREAT!! I had only a yellow cake mix in the pantry, but added 1 teaspoon of lemon extract to it, and my family never knew the difference. This cake is light, creamy, and not over powering, or filling. Perfect for a desert for Easter Sunday. I can't wait to try it again.
