Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2010
Be sure to add the butter at the end (it makes it milder). Served on cibatta rolls with sprinkles of bleu cheese with a side of cole slaw. YUM!

Caramelized Onion and Blue Cheese Orzo

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2009
My family (5 yr old included) loved this dish. Make the effort to find the mascarpone cheese - it is divine!! It does make a lot, but the leftovers will go quick. In the carmelization process, I used regular yellow onions as they release more sugar and used a dash of salt and sugar. It took about an hour but so worth it. I served it alongside raspberry chicken.

Spinach Enchiladas

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2008
I thought this was pretty tasty. I added shrimp, used 1/2 c of the ricotta cheese and used green chile enchilda sauce. Next time I make it I will make a sour cream sauce and use that as the topping.

Very good; used juice of an orange instead of lime, its a very smooth flavor. Also used a red onion and kept the cilantro to a minimum.

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

Outstanding dish. Everyone had seconds, including my 3 year old! I used crushed garlic (as opposed to minced) and it adhered to the cauliflower wonderfully.

This dish is outstanding. I don't even like sweet potatoes but I had 2 helpings! I baked the sweet potatoes in the oven. I also added 1/2 t. of nutmeg.

Asian-Glazed 'Melt-in-Your-Mouth' Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
I used the brine recipe and incorporated it into a sweet garlic pork recipe. I've made the dish a hundred times but never with the brine and OMG! What a huge difference it makes! The tenderloin was so tender and delicious! I do the brine process from now on, for sure!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2007
End of story - this is the best roast chicken I've ever eaten. It is so good. I will be using the seasoning rub for my Thanksgiving turkey this year! The salt-based (I used kosher salt) rub pulls the liquids to the surface of the bird resulting in a perfect slow roasted chicken. AWESOME!

Absolutely Amazing Ahi

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2007
The name of this recipe is very fitting...it IS absolutely amazing ahi! I made this for some friends who were over to watch the game and they devoured it. This app. is a tribute to any sushi lover. ETA: I suggest using a sushi/sashimi grade soy sauce with this dish. It balances the sweet and salty flavors and tastes much smoother.

Bolognese Stuffed Bell Peppers

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2005
This is such a great recipe. The pancetta added a terrific flavor. The spices melded beautifully. I made two stuffed peppers and froze the remaining filling. I can't wait to eat this again!

Moussaka

So good! I used ground lamb instead of beef and added guyere cheese and 2 beaten eggs to the bechamel sauce to thicken. It was wonderful. Would add another can of tomato sauce next time.

Perfect Turkey

Holy juicy turkey, batman! This is the BEST turkey recipe, ever. Period. The brining is the key, I think. The veggies were also a big hit and the white meat was just divine. I actually saw a guest of ours taking a picture of my turkey!

This was pretty good, although a little strong with the sundried tomatoes. But all in all, I would make again. Tastes good with Kalmata olives.

This was pretty good, although I think vinegar was left out of the ingredients. It seems like there is a flavor missing.

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2002
This was a very good quiche. I reduced the amount of butter to 1 T. and halved everything else (except the feta). I used tomato and basi feta. My husband devoured it - he had the rest of it for dinner that night!

This is really good stuff. I omitted the MSG and bacon, but added Parmesan cheese and sun dried tomatoes. So good for a quick, home cooked meal.
