I modified this recipe by adding the following: Finely chopped green onions, a bit of red onions, shredded cheese ( my favorite is the Mexican Blend from Costco) and shredded lettuce.. To allow flavors to mix I made this the night before the party but leaving out the tomatoes and lettuce, the morning of the party I added the chopped seeded tomatoes and shredded lettuce and served it in a sourdough bread bowl ..
