Spicy-Sweet Glazed Salmon

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2013
This was simply amazing! Exactly what I was looking for in a great salmon recipe, and the pairings suggested were great. I ate mine with quinoa prepared with garden vegetable broth and raw carrots, and it was filling and very tasty. I made mine with a teaspoon of syrup instead of the brown sugar, spicy oil, and a splash of Pom juice. Mine still had the skin, and I broiled it on High for about 10 minutes skin side down, and re-glazed it twice. Simply ah-mazing! Can't wait to do it again.

Peanut Sauce I

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
I've been trying to find a reasonable, easy to make Peanut Sauce recipe, because I go through the bottle like nobody's business! I did what most others recommended: honey, soy sauce and paprika. I also added some garlic (was going to use ginger, but didn't have any at home). Word from the semi-wise: Be very careful with the amount of white vinegar you use. Too much, and that taste can't be masked. Very tasty, thanks!

Creamy Potato With Rosemary Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2011
This was an amazing recipe! I made a few modifications though, but it was still incredibly tasty. I didn't have russet potatoes, but I did have the tri-color mini potatoes, and those worked just as fine. It did delay the caramelization time, however, but no biggie. Added a little bit more sugar, and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. Don't have cayenne pepper, so I used Paprika, red peppers and black pepper. Lastly, I used milk instead of the half & half, and just for giggles I included a quarter cup of white wine and about a tbsp of Dijon mustard. Blended that all together, and WOWZA! I wanted to lick pan clean it was that tasty. Will definitely be making this again!

Honey Mustard Dressing II

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2010
Very tasty! I followed the instructions, added paprika for a kick (careful, a little goes a long way!), and then because it was such a small amount, I followed someone else's advice and added a tablespoon of (Greek) yogurt as fluffer. It doesn't add much to flavor, but it's great to simply increase the amount of the dip. After that, adjust flavor for taste! Simply delicious and I can't wait to try it with some lime juice next time too.
