Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

FANTASTIC POT ROAST I read through the reviews to get an idea of what I was going to do, I used a 3 1/2 lb chuck roast or O bone. I seasoned with garlic salt, pepper and onion powder. Browned the roast first before putting into crock pot. In the pan I browned the roast in I mixed two cans of cream of mushroom soup and one can of french onion soup & 2 garlic cloves. After heating through, I poured it over the roast in the crock pot put it on high until it started to boil then put on low for the balance of cooking time which was 6 hours. It shredded just like I wanted it and the gravy was awesome. Thanks Brenda

Mock Lobster

Very good! I opmited the bread crumbs as we are doing low carb. Dipped in melted butter after cooking for the lobster touch. I was searching for a way to cook monkfish as it's been about 15 years since I last made it and couldn't remember! Thank you!

Day Before Mashed Potatoes

I made this for Christmas and it was so good I'm making it to take to a New Years Eve party. I omitted the onion powder, added milk and bacon bits. I made extra, thinking I could have left overs with the turkey and ham but alas all the potatoes were gone!! Thanks for sharing these are really good and will become one of the standards with our holiday meals......

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

I made this for New Years. I omitted the onions and added extra cheese as suggested. Mine turned brown almost burned. I think the 400 deg for 1 1/2 hours is far too long. Next time I will change temp to 350 and cook for an hour.

Steak Tip Marinade

I didn't have a large cut of tri tip, so I 1/2 the ingredients. Used 2 tea of Worchestehire. Also added 1/2 c ketchup and 2 t of hot sauce to jazz it up a bit. Marinated for 3 hours. We loved it! Thanks for the recipe! It's a keeper hubby said!!

Baked Orange Roughy Italian-Style

FANTASTIC....I read the reviews and I added feta cheese and chopped tomatos on top of the breaded fish. Not only did it look like it was prepared at a fine restaurant, but it tasted out of this world. We had some left over (I bought 2 lbs) and took it with us to a family thing the next day and it was devoured in minutes everyone wanted the recipe.

Heavenly Potatoes and Ham

I'm sorry but we didn't care for this at all. My husband is not a picky eater and this didn't go over well at all. I wasted all that money on the ham. But in defense of the recipe this is the first time I used potatoes in a casserole. We noramlly have it with noodles so that could be it. I threw it out wouldn't even give it to the dogs!
