Shrimp and Asparagus

So good and easy! But couldn't in good conscience use that much oil or butter as other reviewers said. Used 1/4 c olive oil (will use less next time) and used 1/4 c butter for the dish (8 servings). I also used another reviewers suggestion - sauteed garlic, then mushrooms. Added 1/2 cup white wine with lemon juice and steamed asparagus for awhile then added butter and shrimp for the last few minutes. I typically overcook shrimp but didn't this time! I did added red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Will use more lemon juice next time. I'm gluten free so used jasmine rice instead of pasta - was fabulous! My BF and I were the only ones eating and there were not 6 servings left for sure! Thanks for the great recipe!

Flourless Chocolate Cake I

I thought this was delicious! Made it for my bf's b-day, so I (gluten-free) could enjoy a b-day cake with him. He also loved it thankfully! Not being an experienced cook, I was a little intimidated by the cooking in a water bath, but it was easy. The bf got it out of the pan no problem after the pan sat in warm water right out of the fridge. I used 1 bag of semi-sweet and 1/2 bag milk chocolate and reduced the sugar to 1/2 cup. Next time (oh there will be a next time!) I will try the suggestions of less egg yolk and whipping the egg whites. Served with vanilla ice cream and red raspberries. So good! Thanks for a fantastic gluten free chocolate cake option!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Wonderfully tasty and easy recipe! I did add Poultry seasoning and garlic salt to both the chicken mixture and the sauce. I also substituted Fat Free 1/2 and 1/2 for the milk which made it nice and creamy. I also made more sauce by increasing both the chicken broth and milk by 1/4 cup. Seemed like a perfect consistency. I will definitely make this again!
