To Die For Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2011
Delicious. I didn't have Romano or Parmesan tonight so I subbed both for half a bag of Mozzarella and added some white wine, Basil, diced Italian tomatoes and chicken. I STUFFED MYSELF SILLY! VERY VERY Good.

Mom's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
Perfect! I made these two days ago...we ate them all, they are ALL gone! They spread perfectly, and stayed soft! They looked JUST liked the picture. Those who are saying they did not spread and were too cakey... you must have not followed the recipe exactly, as I had no problems. My only 'complaint (and it isn't really) is the 2 cups of chocolate chips seemed almost like a bit too much... there were so many chips some of them didn't mix into the batter and stayed in the bottom of the bowl.

Pie Crust I

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
I've made this twice now, and it works, but I docked it one star because it does NOT take 6 tablespoons of water. The dough is WAY too dry that way. It uses more like 8 or 9 tablespoons. Also, there's ALMOST not quite enough dough for a basic 9 inch pie. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm rolling it out pretty darn thin, and I find it dosen't quite reach the edges of my pan.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2010
I've never made pizza dough (or any kind of bread before) and this still came out fantastic. A couple of lessons learned by a first timer: 1) Roll it thinner than you think you might need to, unless you like REALLY thick crusts. 2) Spaghetti sauce does not a pizza sauce make. It's too thin. 3) This will also make EXCELLENT bread-sticks. :-) Some reviewers said don't over sauce your pizza for fear it would turn out soggy. I personally did not have this problem.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2010
Just finished making these. I have never made sugar cookies before, the recipe is really easy to follow. The flavor is awesome, and the cookies look great! KEEP IN MIND: If you plan on cooking these right away, don't put them in to chill for too long, and monitor how stiff your dough gets, because after too long in the fridge, the dough is VERY STIFF and nearly impossible to roll, so you have to either "knead" it or let it set out to warm up before working with it.
