Chocolate Trifle

I prepared this for a progressive dinner and it was a huge hit. No leftovers, so I never got to taste it! I would not change a thing and I have to make this again soon, so I can have some this time!

Baked Maryland Lump Crab Cakes

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2007
Very easy and very tasty! I omitted the mustard and I used two real eggs with a 1/4 cup of half and half to simulate the egg beaters. In a word... delicious! Thanks for a great recipe; will definately make again and again!

Tender Onion Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2007
This was an extremely easy recipe with great flavor. The chicken stayed moist in the oven; however a bit too salty for our taste. Next time, I will omit any salt since there is plenty in the onion soup mix. Thanks Kim!

I made these for our Christmas food day at work and they were such a hit! I was so surprised at how easy they were. Everyone thought I spent hours putting them together! You must give this a try!

Cajun Crabmeat Au Gratin

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2006
This was sooooo good! My husband is also from Louisiana and he just loved it as well as my daughter. I gave 5 stars because I followed the recipe without diversion. I agree however with other users to omit the salt, but the family already told me this is a keeper! Thanks Dennis!

Louisiana Shrimp Creole II

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2005
My husband is from Louisanna so I knew he was going to be a tough critic. He questioned everything I did and I followed this recipe to a tee! It was fantastic and took no time at all; unlike when my husband makes a creole, it practically takes all day and a ton of extra pots and pans! Thank you for a great and quick recipe!

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2005
Great recipe! Easy to prepare and definately comfort food. No changes are necessary for this recipe. My pork chops were very thick (all I had)but I think next time I will use thinner loin chops. Thanks Dawn for this winner!

Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2004
With 2 young girls and a finicky husband, trying new recipes is always a challenge. Needless to say, this recipe "rocks"! There were no leftovers and I made a pound and a half of chicken! Definately a keeper. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2003
This recipe was so easy and fast to prepare. I added some left over crab meat to the shrimp. My picky 8 year old loved it, my husband had seconds and even baby liked it!!! Thanks for a great recipe; my family ASKED me to make it again!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2002
I used my baking stone which is very large and my pizza still came out really thick! Next time I will cut the recipe in half. Despite the thickness, the taste was really good.

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Reviewed: May 8, 2002
I had also hoped this recipe to be a more kid friendly with my two little ones, but no such luck. I omitted the green chiles for this reason and I am afraid it was on the bland side. I will make again though with a little more spice just for the adults!

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: May 2, 2002
I made this last night to test out on my family before serving it for an upcoming party. It was really easy to make and it tasted great! My husband loved it and he is very "honest" about my cooking. I substituted swiss cheese for cheddar. I will try cheddar for the party and more ham. Thanks for the great recipe!

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2002
Thank you Kathi!!! I had been in a cooking slump and I think your recipe put me back into my family's good graces! My husband actually raved about it at work! Didn't get to try it out on my 7 year old, because leftovers were gone for lunch the next day! This recipe was so easy and a lot less messier than putting together your own burritos. Will definately make again and again!

Apple-Raisin French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2002
I made this the night before so all I had to do was put it in the oven the next morning. The bread was just too soggy and never dried up. It was too mushy to eat. The next morning, I put it in the oven again to dry up and it still never dried up enough to eat. Such a shame, because the ingredients go together so well. Perhaps, I did something wrong! I am going to try it again, but with 1/2 as much egg mixture.
