No Bake Double Good Dessert

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2014
Perfect 10. Add 3T of butter to Oreo crust to help it stick. Place in freezer 10-15 minutes before adding filling. No other adjustments needed. Will make again and again!

Better Than Sex Cake II

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2011
This wasn't a 5 star for me. I made in a 9x13 pan and the whip cream wasn't enough. I will make again in a cake pan and use 6 or 7 bars.

Are the beans drained before adding? Awesome recipe but too thick.

Hubby and I loved it. Make sure not to overcook the chicken. I made it exactly as recipe stated. Perfect!

Spaghetti Carbonara II

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
Delicious! We loved it. We used a bag of precooked bacon from Coscto and just put it in the pan to warm instead of fry. Make sure to NOT use reduced fat parmesan cheese. Stir in egg quickly or it becomes a solid egg. I added olive oil to each prepared plate at the end because it was too dry.

Ginger Salmon

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2011
Fast, delicious! I used dried ginger and it was awesome. I very rarely rate, so consider this meal a 10 star. I threw in cherry tomatoes and fresh spinach (with feta cheese) into the same baking dish as the salmon for the same amount of time. Easy meal the family!

Followed everything right, but it was a flop. Too salt and too thick.

Balsamic Glazed Carrots

Incredibly sweet like a dessert. I would scale back the brown sugar next time. It also tastes very festive (read: Thanksgiving).

Roasted Vegetables

Very, very close to a five star. Used dry herbs and whatever veggies I had in the fridge. Next time, will use less herbs.

Asian Salmon

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
Restaurant quality. Followed ingredients perfectly. Broiling at the end is a must. Very, very delicious! The longer it marinades, the better it tastes. I baked it at 400 degrees for 10 minutes per inch thickness, but check every now and then to see if it's done.

Alaskan BBQ Salmon

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2010
Sweet and sour all at once. I used the ingredients as a marinade and baked in the oven instead of on the grill. I will make again, but will use the marinade also for veggies or for rice.

Groovy Green Smoothie

Reviewed: May 4, 2010
Green grapes, a Fuji apple and Dannon Vanilla Yogurt is what I used. It was a wee bit too sweet (and this is coming from a person who can eat three Cadbury Cream Eggs one after the other!). I will choose red grapes and a Red Delicious apple next time. You have to see passed the color. I can see myself making this again and again.

Greasy and thin. I used semi-sweet chocolate chips and they were good. I will make once more and use milk chocolate.

Trout with Almond-Herb Crust

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2002
Delicious BUT I made changes. I made one helping following the directions meticulously. Then I made my own variety. I liked mine much better. I baked it in the oven 400 degrees per inch of thickness. The milk is unecessary. I used seasoned crouton crumbs instead of saltines as the saltines are not flavorful enough to carry this recipe. I added more almonds and used a dash of dried thyme in addition to the real herbs. Scrumptious!

Asian Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2002
Amazing Taste! Restaurant quality. Will make again and again. Be sure to make extra dressing. It's delicious. Be sure to let dressing stand for 30 minutes. The dressing doesn't taste as good, any sooner than 30. I bought chow mein noodles (instead of rice noodles) and added mandarin oranges in the can.

Dessert Crepes

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2002
Delicious! I was an expert creper with the first one. Combine ingredients in the bowl and whisk together per instructions. Then put combined ingredients in the blender. Blend for 10 seconds. Mine had no lumps. Make sure to pour a little mix into the pan and spread thin by moving the pan around. My fiance and I loved them. Try with raspberry jam and cool whip. Roll then sprinkle with powdered sugar. These are soooooo yummy. You won't be disappointed.

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2002
WHAT DID I DO WRONG? It tasted delicious, but it had a soup consistency, not a pudding. I used a dry milk mixture instead of regular milk. Could this have made the difference. My fiance was a good sport and ate it anyway, but the dish never made it to the dinner party.
