Dairy Free Chocolate Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2013
Delicious! Be sure to read other reviews and do the cornstarch right. I doubled the sugar and used Splenda instead, because I like stuff extra sweet. Thickened up perfectly! Also used plain light soy milk. I'm anxious to try the with other "milk" varieties.

Football Party Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2012
This was a huge hit. I omitted the celery because I don't like it, and I used a bigger can of beans (28 oz). I mixed 16 oz of sour cream and 8 oz of shredded cheese into the dip to give it a creamy texture. Several people asked for the recipe.

Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2012
Oh my gosh! These are INCREDIBLE! We followed the recipe exactly, except we doubled the filling and used regular bread on hand. This was probably the tastiest sandwich I've ever eaten. Don't hesitate on this one. It is SO good!

Bacon & Eggs Spaghetti

Reviewed: May 15, 2012
Not very good at all. We followed the recipe exactly as stated. The eggs give the dish no additional flavor. Velveeta makes it taste cheap. If you're looking for a similar and MUCH tastier recipe, just make classic, homemade mac and cheese and add your own bacon. This recipe doesn't come together as anything special.

Buffalo Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2012
As written, this recipe is not very good, but with some changes, it can be fantastic. We shred pepperjack cheese and mix it into an 8 oz container of cream cheese. We then add red crushed pepper and chili powder. Spread the mixture over thinly sliced strips of raw chicken, roll into a ball and secure with toothpick. Cover the entire dish liberally in buffalo wing sauce and bake. Has so much more flavor than the original recipe.

Buffalo Chicken Wing Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2012
The recipe as written is a ONE star, but with some modifications, it can be redeemed. We chopped up half an onion, garlic salt, chili powder, crushed red pepper, half a bottle of wing sauce, sifting in flour, and reducing the amount of milk. Even with these adjustments, it was just "okay". I wouldn't recommend bothering with this dish. It's bland and far from a satisfying.

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
They aren't too many overrated recipes on allrecipes, but this is definitely one of them. They tasted like exactly what they were, Oreos crushed and doused in cream cheese, covered in cheap tasting chocolate. I was hoping the combination would together taste like greater than the sum of the parts, but it really didn't. I would've rather just eaten the box of cookies and not wasted my time or made the mess. They really just don't taste very good.

Pumpkin Pecan White Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2011
Pretty good, but I will agree they were a bit bland. Definitely increase the spice. We also garnished with cinnamon right before baking, and that helped. A little too cakey for my taste as well.

Fantastic flavor! I made my own whole wheat crust which added some work but was well worth the health benefits. A little dry. I would double the sauce next time.

Tortilla Soup I

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2011
Delicious!! Per suggestions, we did use canned jalapenos instead. Prepped it all and put it in the crock pot for about 4 hours to let all the flavors simmer together. We garnished with shredded pepper jack cheese. It was amazing! Will definitely be making this again!

Pretty good. Flavor was a little odd, and our family thought it was too sweet. May skip the cranberries next time and add more cheese.

Apple Crisp

Good flavor but the apples were very, very dry. Needs something more to give it that glaze. Kind of felt like just eating dried out apples with a sugar mixture on top.
