Perfect recipe the way it is. I loved it! Super quick to make and easy. The ingredients are things I always have in the house.

No Bake Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2011
Easy to make but no one in my household liked the powdered sugar on it. It took the chocolate taste out of it. It seemed to dry it out to much and was messy.

Vegan Split Pea Soup II

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2011
Not bad at all. The thickness was just right. The only problem I had was it was a bit bland. My son added more salt to his and thought it was way better so I tried that too and I have to agree. I am not much of a salt eater but it sure brought out the flavor just by adding a bit more and it didn't taste salty.

Sparky's Doggie Treats

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2011
Somehow following the recipe making shapes did not work out for me and I'm not sure how to describe it but they did this kind of peal apart thing. I was wanting something more hard and solid than they turned out but maybe I did something wrong. The dogs liked them alot anyhow though.

Navy Bean Soup I

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2011
My picky son who is not a bean fan really liked this recipe. I followed the recipe exactly except we left anything to do with meat out because we are mostly vegetarian. Great thickness, flavor, and I liked it too.

Piggy Pudding Dessert Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
I was surprised the crust tasted as good as it did. I've had to made adjustments for our taste. I used two boxes of that size pudding only adding 4 cups milk total making it what I thought was the right thickness. (2 C. per box) I thought it tasted better with more chocolate in the layer and that was my reason for the 2nd box. I'll try this with graham cracker crust or pistachio pudding next and maybe chocolate flakes or chips on top.

Southern Style Thanksgiving Green Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2008
I had to cook my first family Thanksgiving this year, so I was trying green bean recipes out ahead of time. I love fresh green beans so this appealed to me. I cut the recipe down for two and ended up eating the whole thing myself. My son just likes things out of the can plain so it was to different for him but I didn't mind it was more for me! I never knew how my grandma made them, and it was to late to ask her, but this tasted like hers. I was thrilled! I didn't use the recipe for Thanksgiving because my daughter begged me to make them my usual way but I will definately make them more often for myself this summmer when I can buy the good fresh beans.

Maple Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2008
I am lactose intolerant and substituted the milk for lactose free milk and left the eggs out of the recipe. Everything turned out great. This is a simple, quick, and good recipe. My son ate them with me and loved it.
