Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2007
UNBELIEVABLE! So easy, and I took so many shortcuts and this was bar FAR the BEST soup/chowder I have ever had. I chopped up several frozen (uncooked) chicken tenderloins and added that to 1 can cream of 98% fat free chicken, 1 can 98% fat free cream of celery, 1 bag frozen peas and pearl onion mix, 1 bag petite baby carrots, 3 cans fat free chicken broth and added some minced garlic. took 5 minutes. I did this all the night before, the next morning before work (7am) i took it out of the refrig and turned it on low. On lunch break at 2pm I came home and added 1 can of reduced fat biscuts and turned it to high. By 5pm it was perfectly creamy and delicious. I added rosemary and salt and pepper before serving. NOTE - this will be thin brothy like until you add biscuits, then it will thicken as biscuits cook. SO CREAMY AND SO FLAVORFUL, I have a new favorite. 5+ stars!!!!!

Garlic Chicken

SO EASY and tasted perfect. Chicken was perfectly moist. I pounded chicken first to thin out/even out each breast and followed direction exactly (except doubled it to make 8 breasts) SOO GOOD!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2007
Made it TWICE in one week!! I peeled and slices the apples VERY thin and tossed the apples in the cin./sugar (use 1/2 amoutn of sugar required) mixture with a splash of water (NOT 1/2 cup) and added nutmeg like other people suggested. I doubled the crisp mixture and layered 1/2 on bottom of dish, then spead apples and put rest of the crisp mixture on top. It was EXCELLENT!

Baba Ghanoush

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2006
Made this recipe twice following directions EXACTLY the first time. Delicious. The second time I only used ONE clove of garlic and at the end I stirred in a drop or two of liquid smoke as another user suggested and it was even MORE DELICIOUS - this is amazing... best Baba Ghanoush EVER!

French Onion Soup Gratinee

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2006
***** PLUS a few more stars!! EXCELLENT recipe, better than I have had in any Restaurant. Did not alter the soup recipe at all. Perfect and my guest devoured the entire pot!! I didn't even use bread on the top, just sprinkled some shredded swiss cheese and it was amazing!

Lemon Chicken II

Reviewed: May 13, 2002
This was a yummy dish. The sauce adds a nice sweet lemon flavor. Although, I think I should have cooked the sauce a bit longer so it would get thicker. Good for the whole family!

Baked French Toast

Reviewed: May 13, 2002
I made this for Mother's Day Brunch. It was sooo easy, and soooo good. Although I didn't read the reviews (like many others) before I made this nobody complained it was soggy and it was quite good. I was nervous when I was making it because of all the liquid, but the bread sucked it up quite nicely. I will try cutting the mike back to 1 cup and the eggs from 8 to 6 to see if I like that better. I didn't use all the glaze the first time, because it just looked like to much. Incredible dish, I can't wait to make it again.

Shrimp Scampi I

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2002
This was so yummy! The lemon juice adds a nice flavor. This recipes was really fast, the only real work was mincing the garlic. The only downfall was it is SUPER garlicy, so if you are not a garlic lover you may want to chop the amount (kids may not like all the garlic).
