About this Cook
Up until I was 22 years old, I couldn't even make myself a sandwich. Out of the blue, and living on my own for the first time in my life, I discovered a passion for cooking. I get better and better every day, and still have a lot to learn considering I started from scratch at the age of 22. I'm 28 now and still trying new dishes, perfecting recipes I can call my own, and am getting pretty darn good at baking. I love Allrecipes.com, I practically live and breathe through this website. And I cannot thank my cooking mentors enough for getting me started down this wonderful road of cooking!

Baked Brie
This recipe is to die for!!! I'm a brie-freak, but my husband doesn't like it. However, even my husband enjoyed this recipe! This is definitely a keeper! Thank you!

Pan-fried Polenta with Corn, Kale and Goat Cheese
I used regular cornmeal instead of stone ground... not sure if that had anything to do with the fact that my polenta kept sticking to the pan and in the end turned out to be a goopy mess... I don't think I'll ever try this recipe again. It took too much effort and time, and the results were frustratingly mediocre.

Copia's Penne Pasta and Cheese Casserole
For all the general unhealthiness of this dish, I expected it would taste amazing (don't most unhealthy things taste delicious?) but it was BLAND! All I could taste was the heavy cream. It tasted no better than a cheap box of mac n' cheese but took a tremendous amount of work.
