Honey Nutters

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2012
I made this a second time and realized my mistake (even though I loved the recipe the 1st time I made them!). The recipe calls for 16 graham crackers. That's 16 squares (or 8 whole graham crackers). In my 1st attempt, I used 16 whole graham crackers (double the amount). Although I enjoyed the recipe, I couldn't get the coconut to stick. No problem getting the coconut to stick this time around, although I rolled half of them in coconut and half in granulated sugar to give my family some options. Oh - make these small (think bite size). Easy and YUMMY!

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
Easy and delicious! I used the 2 tsp pumpkin spice and 2 tsp cinnamon as some other reviewers suggested and the taste/texture was top notch. This will be my "go-to" pumpkin pie recipe from now on.

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
This was my 1st attempt ever at making pecan pie. This recipe is fantastic as written. Hubby loved it and even ate some for breakfast! My only change was to cook it at a lower temp for a bit longer. 300 for 50-55 minutes after the initial higher heat setting. I will be making this again - soon!

Baked Fish and Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
This was pretty good. I ended up doubling the rice, chicken broth, Italian seasoning and garlic powder (next time I will triple the seasoning); used a 16 oz bag of broccoli, but kept the rest the same. After adding the boiling broth, I cooked the rice for 15 minutes prior to adding the rest, and ended up cooking the complete meal for 30 minutes (instead of the recommended 20 - 25 minutes) - plenty of time (45 minutes total) for the rice to cook. I enjoyed the French fried onions and would have never paired that with fish. Definitely a keeper!

Bill's Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
Hands down the BEST gravy ever. I used Turkey sausage and added 1/2 tsp of maple syrup to get that maple flavor that would have been lacking. This has become our new favorite breakfast! YUM!

Grilled Mediterranean Greek Pizza with Sundried Tomato Chicken Sausage

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2011
I tried this for the first time tonight. Like one other reviewer, I added some olives (yum) and mushrooms to this and it was absolutely delicious! A little pricey but so completely worth is. Thanks for the recipe - we will absolutely make this again!

Asparagus, Chicken, and Pecan Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
Light tasting, yet very filling (and pretty to look at too). I added mushrooms, but followed the recipe exactly and was quite happy with the results. Makes a LOT of food for just two people. Yum!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
I made this for dinner last night and all my picky boys raved about this. I cooked exactly as instructed and it turned out fantastic. I made an au jus sauce out of the drippings, melted some cheese on top and dinner was done! Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

Thanksgiving Leftovers Stuffed Shells

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
I was looking for something not so traditional to do with my leftovers and this dish sounded interesting. The reviews were what got me interested. I didn't have jumbo shells, so I used large manicoti shells instead. Everyone except my youngest son loved them, but he doesn't like cheese. I didn't blend the stuffing and turkey. I chopped the turkey and mixed by hand to give a bit more texture. Glad I did since each bite had a slightly different flavor. I will definitely make again!

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
This recipe was the reason I joined allrecipes. The stuffing was delicious and not one bite was left after making it for the 1st time yesterday for Thanksgiving. I took the time to read every review and like most, didn't use as much broth, but close to it since my slow cooker tends to run hot. Every person (all 18) went back for seconds and a few even asked for the recipe. Thank you! Wonderful smelling, wonderful tasting!
