Dumplings

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2001
This is very good recipe. I have used it in beef stew and also chicken and noodles in broth. It is easy, quick and delicious. Won't use any other dumpling recipe from now on!

Just cannot believe how great this recipe is! I have been looking for something like this for a very long time. It tastes so good and is so very easy to make AND made with sugar-free ingredients and fresh strawberries! Thanks Andi I will serve this many many times.

Lavosh

When women of my Lutheran Church were having trouble finding unleavened bread for communion, I searched and found this recipe. I baked this unleavened flatbread for Easter Sunday's communion services. It was well received by the congregation and the pastor. Had a little trouble keeping my husband from eating it all before taking it to church. Thank you Sally for sharing this recipe. I have been asked to make it again and it is certainly easy. (I did leave off the sesame seeds for this purpose) I will use it with the sesame seeds for our snacks at home.

Brown Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2000
This is a very rich cookie. I will frost those to give away but those I keep will not be frosted. Very rich and buttery. Probably won't make these again as we have to watch our sugar.

Apricot Cookie Frosting

A real compliment to the frosted apricot cookie recipe. I used no sugar added Smuckers jam and they were still quite sweet but not too sweet. Good!

Apple Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2000
I liked this recipe. I do think I will add a little cinnamon next time just for a little more zip. To me, cinnamon and apples compliment each other. A soft cookie, don't keep tightly closed.

Chicken Something

very easy and quick and quite tasty. I didn't use all the onion soup - only one package because we have cut back on salt and it was very good! Will make this again.

This recipe is one of the better ones for sugar free cookies. Easy, quick and quite tasty. I may try some cinnamon next time to give them some color.

Very good cookie! Easy and quick too. I stored the cookies in plastic tight fitting container because we prefer a softer cookie.

Certainly not as good as regular choc chip cookies in my opinion, but quite good as diabetic cookies go. Quick and easy.

Creamy Potato Pork Chop Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2000
This was very good and a definite keeper. I did however, use 30 oz bag of frozen hashbrowns THAWED so used 1 cup sour cream instead of 1/2 cup and I baked it an additional 15 min. A big hit!

A real winner! My 6 yr old twin granddaughters "made their own dinner" while camping with us. They enjoyed making it and ate it all too! Grandpa and I also enjoyed them a whole lot!

very sweeeeeet! Can't help but wonder if the amount of sugar is wrong in this one. I cut brown sugar down to 1 cup and it is still too sweet. Won't be making this again.

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Very good! I used the egg dumpling type noodles and it worked out very well. The sour cream gives it a rich flavor. My husband, my mother and I all gave this recipe 5 cards!
