Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2012
I recently found out that my daughter has a dairy protein allergy and being married to an Italian, it's been extremely hard to find good recipes. I made this tonight for my family of 5 and I wish I read the reviews prior with cutting down on the Balsamic as it was pretty strong but still very tasty. I did make some changes to our liking...instead of garlic salt, I used chopped fresh garlic and I seasoned the chicken with some seasoning instead of just pepper. I served the chicken with peas, corn, and mashed potatoes...everyone enjoyed this tasty meal. Next time, I will definitely be cutting down on the balsamic vinegar. Thanks for sharing!!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2012
I made this the other day with chicken broth because I didn't have any beef broth and it was still delicious! The changes I made...I added 1 more potato, and tripled the carrots and celery (it didn't have enough veggies IMO), about a cup more broth, and a few more cloves of garlic (we love garlic). I will be making this again with the beef broth for tomorrow nights dinner and I'm sure it can only be better :) We will definitely be keeping this recipe in rotation!!! Thank you.

Chicken Cacciatore Skillet

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2009
I just made this tonight and it was awesome! I added 1/4 tsp. Rosemary and used less chicken broth as I didn't put this over rice. In my opinion Cacciatore should be over spaghetti. I made it with wheat spaghetti and it was great! Next time I will try using Chicken Stock instead for a richer taste. Thanks for the recipe.

This was a big hit!! I followed the recipe as is, but used cooking wine instead of regular white wine. It was wonderful. I will be adding this into our regular family meals!! Thanks for the recipe!

It didn't turn well at all. It was very soggy. It was just a mess. It's definitly not for first timers. I'm sorry to say.

Awesome Roast Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2002
This was Yummy!!! We came home after work and there it was DONE!!! All we had to do was slice the roast beef. I had my husband do the honor and he didn't slice it he cut it up in chunks. Let's just say we had a good laugh. For the left overs we had it on a bed of rice since now it looks like stew!!! I will definitely make this again but I think the next time I will cut the meat and try the Onion Mix just for a different flavor. Thank you for sharing this

Bierock Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2002
I made this last night for my husband and I and reading the reviews it didn't sound too good but I tried it anyways. We loved it!! I did add some salt, pepper and garlic powder but other then that everything else was the same. Next time I think I will try the Cream of Mushroom soup, it will help it stick together more. Thanks for this recipe it's great!!!
