Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2012
I seasoned 30pcs chicken wings with salt and pepper, prepared the sauce to the letter, added the chicken and let it marinate for an hour. Poured everything into a baking dish and baked it in a preheated oven at 375F COVERED with foil for 45mins (as suggested by some reviews) took off the foil and baked it for an additional 20mins. Sauce did thicken a bit and the wings had charred parts (no complaints about it). Served it with rice. No left overs&requests for more equals a success in my books.

Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2011
easy to make, just added another tsp of vanilla since i couldn't find the mexican kind. everything was perfect except there was a small pool of melted butter on the top, so i'd lessen the butter the next time. this is a great recipe.

Jenny's Grilled Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2011
simple and delicious! i did follow a recommendation from trinka G with the butter but used olive oil spread and instead of using salt i added 1/4c light soy sauce to the lemon juice.

Asian Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2011
followed the recipe except i substituted the rice vinegar with apple cider vinegar+some sugar since i didn't have any and lessened the brown sugar to about 1/2 a cup and it was a hit! i did strain the sauce after boiling it to lessen the kick of the red pepper flakes since i wanted my kids to eat it and i did have some sauce left over at the very end--but i'm not complaining since i can save it for other dishes. the only reason i gave it only 4stars is because it was time consuming in my case--if you had the time then this is perfect. in my opinion, marination is key.

Spicy Bok Choy in Garlic Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2011
helped cooking the stems first, i added some juliann baby carrots here and followed the recipe as it was. great dish, even my kids ate it without complaining! there was too much of the sauce left over but it's not like i'm complaining since we saved it for toppings on rice.

few ingredients with a simple preparation, but an extraordinary dish! using balsamic vinegar was daunting but when you taste this it is amazing! i used the basting sauce like a gravy. will definitely cook this again
