Mall Pretzels

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2012
I just put the left overs away, by sheer will power there are leftovers at all. So so yummy, even my very picky hubby liked them. I served them with nacho cheese. I had a hard time shaping them, I never got the 3' pencil thin strip to work with, they werent too ugly, but i think ill look up a youtube example next time on how to actually put it together. I got irritated with it and froze half of the dough for some other time, I hope they turn out just as good. I have not had a mall pretzel in a long time, so i cant really compare taste, but this sucker was soooo good!! Thank you.

Honey Wheat Bread II

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2012
I loved the taste, so good and soft and fresh. Except, I must have done something wrong, tought I followed the directions exactly. The first four slices were great. Once i got closer to the middle,it had a big raw patch, with the center itself being totally raw. I dont know what i did wrong, but I was very disapointed because I thought they were perfect, ugh. Not sure how to avoid this.

Mama's Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2012
Ive been married for 10 years and ive tried a few potato salad recipes because hubby likes it. Disaster. This one is great and walks you through. The only alteration u made was to use spicy brown mustard also just because my mother does. Great recipe, !thank you for sharing.

Breakfast Supreme

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
This was so good, i didnt have any ground beef so I just used a pound each of maple and hot sausage. I cooked it for the time and temp stated, but the eggs were pretty runny so I turned the heat up and baked it for 15 more minutes and everyone but the three year old who hates sausage loved this dish. It evn re-heats well. We heated up the leftovers in the mocrowave and usually i dont like eggs heated in the microwave but it was great.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2011
I always struggle with what to eat after church, we cant afford to go out every sunday, and I dont want to have to get home from church and spend an hour in the kitchen when everyone is starving, so this looked perfect. I used boneless skinless chicken breast strips and did everything else just like the recipe. It was really good, hubby didnt like the extra liquid in it and I wasnt crazy about the watery-ness, but it did have great flavor, it was even better then next day because some of the water seemed to soak up in the chicken. I think im going to freeze some and use it to make nachos or something down the road. Thank you for a great idea. I will make again, but maybe half of the sald dressing, or maybe ill add the bbq sauce and dressing after its shredded so i can eyeball the amount of sauce we like.
