Just made these yesterday with mini chocolate chips because that's my hubby's favorite and they were delicious as expected from all the reviews I'd read. Grating the frozen butter is a FABULOUS tip, I'll never go back to doing it any other way! Poo-hoo to Caljane who gave the recipe only three stars because she feels a food processor is a must; just careful with your knuckles when grating the very end of the butter. My tip: I like to make TWO circles with the dough which yields smaller scones, and more crunchy edges :)
