Baked Potato Soup

I have made this soup many, many times. We love it so much I usually triple the recipe. It tastes even better the second day. The recipe is perfect as is. The only changes I made to suit our family's taste was to substitute scallions for the onions and add a can of corn for color and a little texture.

Brisket with BBQ Sauce

This is a great recipe. Meat is very tender and sauce is tasty. I am wondering though if you are supposed to remove the pan juices before adding the barbecue sauce and baking for another hour. I have been taking the pan juices and degreasing and returning to the pan which makes the barbecue sauce tasty but a little thin.
