Run For The Roses Pie III

I have made this countless times. Added vanilla extract as well as quite a bit more bourbon. Also, used a whole package of chocolate chips. Made this the day before for a friend's birthday. Also, makes great tarts.

Vegetable Scrambled Eggs

Used water instead of milk and deleted the tomatoes because I didn't have any. Came together very quickly. Topped with shredded cheddar cheese.

Polenta with Italian Sausage

Delicious and what a show stopper! Used readymade polenta from Trader Joe's. Added a bit of diced onions, sugar, balsamic vinegar and red white to give added depth to the sauce.

Restaurant Style Lasagna

Yummy. I added more Parmesan and used the whole box of no-boil noodles as a timesaver. Instead of plain tomato sauce, I used spaghetti sauce and think the dish overall benefitted from the change. I would make this again.

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reduced the sauce. My eggplant did take longer to cook as well. This was good but I don't think I would make it again considering how time consuming it was. Good though. Added a few extra Italian seasonings.

The more you work flour, the tougher it becomes. Thought these were great. Served with a simple heavy cream and blue cheese sauce. Went great with a London broil I made.
